A rechargeable battery provides portability with 3hrs playback time. Stylish azure blue touch controls on an obsidian black frame provides for a modern yet elegant look complimenting most interior decors.
The NIX frame is designed for the greatest convenience: grab the memory card from your camera (or USB flash drive), insert it into the frame and transfer your images directly onto the frames large 2GB internal memory.
The frame will automatically resize your photos to the optimal size for the frame, allowing you to store as many as 8000 images on the internal memory whilst maintaining the best resolution for your frame. Alternatively you can connect the frame directly to your PC or MAC and transfer movies, music or other images (note the frame does not resize files from a computer only directly from a memory card or USB flash drive).
With the frame's portability and ability to play nearly all MP4 and .avi formats the frame can also function as a portable media player. The frame's motion sensor operates by switching the frame off when it senses no movement. You can set the frame to power off after sensing no movement for any period of time from 1 second through to 24 hrs.
The motion sensor makes the frame ideal for commercial use too: grab customer attention with the motion sensor. Remind employees of SOP's or announcements when they pass by. Hospitals worldwide use motion-sensing frames to remind staff of hygiene procedures at key locations.

Thu, 2010-10-21I was hopeful that this digital picture frame would do everything that I needed it to do and it does, and more! I wanted a portable device that I could put on my coffee table that could run on rechargeable battery power, and it does. Plus I wanted a display that could display high resolution pictures and it does.

A super-cool Digital Frame that delivers
Mon, 2010-11-22The star feature is without question, the `Hu-Motion' Motion Detection Sensor, which makes the frame turn on or off according to movement detected in the room. You can set the timer to be really flexible - even down to the nearest second. The idea is that I want to load up thousands of pictures and leave it somewhere in my Mom's bedroom, so she doesn't need to keep turning it on and changing things all the time. KwaiChang - Minnesota.

Wed, 2010-12-08Loading pictures, music and video was straightforward, just like a usb stick. Just drag your files onto it and the frame will separate by file type (music,photo,video). Another great feature is the fact that you can rotate it 90 degrees and the photo will adjust to portrait style (sort of like an ipod/ipad). Kilgore Trout - USA
